Blue ribbons and pinwheels signal that April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month and a time to join activities underway throughout Yamhill County to spotlight child abuse prevention and actions we can all take to keep our children safe. The month will feature free trainings for adults to learn how to recognize child abuse and respond responsibly, rallies, a Safe Kids Fair and more. Feeling hungry and lucky? We're offering ingredients for a salmon gourmet dinner kit that feeds up to two (2) people will be delivered to your house either Thursday or Friday, April 29-30 for you to prepare, pop into the oven on Friday, then to be enjoyed while you’re watching our virtual live event. Our raffle: Just outside of Carlton is a vineyard called Aileron Hill that produces premium pinot noir.
