National Child Abuse Prevention Month

In 1983, April was designated as Child Abuse Prevention Month. Juliette's House along with national and local organizations come together in April to raise awareness, inspire collective action, and work together to protect children from abuse.

According to Child Welfare aside from the immediate physical injuries children can experience through maltreatment, a child’s reactions to abuse or neglect can have lifelong and even intergenerational impacts. Children can experience long-term physical health effects, psychological consequences, behavioral consequences, and societal impacts. This makes the issue of child abuse an issue that impacts everyone in our community.

We ask that you join us in our efforts to bring awareness to the impacts of child abuse on our community!

Businesses Going Blue- Check out these businesses during April and give back to Juliettes House: The Common Cup, Carlton Business Association, Carlton Corners, Flag& Wire, Honey Pie, Humble Spirit, Larson House, Mac Daddy Donuts, and 3rs Street Pizza/Moonlight Theater.
