Trauma Recovery Services

Juliette's House Trauma Recovery Services offers evidence-based mental health modalities to support children and non-offending care providers to overcome abuse. We offer education, guidance, and the skills necessary to support the individual's healing process. We build healthy relationships and create a safe space for individuals to express their emotions and tell their stories.

When trauma occurs, it is an impactful family event that is highly stressful, disorganizing, and difficult to navigate. We encourage caregivers to enroll in Trauma Recovery Services to assist them in helping their children and healing any unresolved personal trauma. We offer counseling, case management, and parenting education. We are well-versed in providing interventions that incorporate the entire family.

Individuals are empowered to have an active voice in their treatment and recovery from traumatic events.  Our therapists are certified in one or more evidence-based practices such as:

  • TF-CBT   (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)

  • TBRI   (Trust-Based Relational Intervention)

  • AF-CBT  (Alternatives for Families – A Family Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy)

Taking a holistic view, we meet clients where they are to support them in their journey to healing. Clients are met where they are, surrounded by understanding and support, and guided toward a path of true healing, hope, and renewal. TR Specialists provide the first point of contact in the TRS program. They support the client during the initial mental health screening and intake paperwork process to help them feel supported for the assessment process with their new counselor. Our staff is full of passionate and dedicated professionals committed to providing these specific services to the Yamhill County community. Families receive mental health services, including case management,  regardless of their ability to pay; however, if the family would prefer to work with a clinician at an outside agency, our case manager will help coordinate outside referrals.
