Post-Assessment Support

Following the completion of an assessment, our Family Support Team takes proactive steps to ensure families receive not just immediate assistance but also long-term support personalized to their recovery journey from abuse. This comprehensive support strategy might include:

  • Facilitating access to specialized counseling services for children and parents, addressing the emotional and psychological scars left by abuse.

  • Securing vital state assistance for families suddenly without support due to the offender being incarcerated or removed from the home, ensuring their basic needs are met.

  • Initiating connections with self-sufficiency programs and other supportive services, designed to empower families to rebuild their lives with dignity and independence.

Our commitment extends to conducting both short-term and long-term follow-ups, which may last from several months to over a year or as needed. This ongoing support aims to verify that families have accessed the recommended services, identified any additional needs, and addressed lingering questions or concerns, as well as for our team to monitor the family's progress toward healing and stability. The depth of follow-up care provided by Juliette’s House plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between trauma and recovery, ensuring that each family has the tools and resources necessary to overcome the challenges posed by abuse and embark on a path toward healing and resilience.
