The Reality of Our Challenges

At Juliette’s House…

We believe in the power of community. It’s what built us, what sustains us, and what gives hope to every child and family we serve. For nearly 27 years, we’ve stood alongside our community as a light of safety, healing, and resilience for children who have experienced abuse and neglect. But as times change, so do the challenges faced by nonprofit organizations like ours.

In recent years, federal funding for nonprofits—especially those focused on child advocacy, intervention, and prevention—has become increasingly limited. As needs grow, the available resources to meet them are not always keeping pace. This isn’t just something we’re experiencing here in Yamhill County. Nonprofit organizations across the country are working harder than ever to fill funding gaps and continue providing critical services that make our communities stronger and safer.

At Juliette’s House, we remain deeply committed to our mission. We are here to offer hope and healing, to help children feel safe again, and to provide support to families navigating difficult circumstances. But we can’t do this important work alone. Our community has always been the heart of our purpose and success—and today, community support is more essential than ever.

When you support Juliette’s House—whether through volunteering, attending events, sharing our mission, or making a donation—you are investing in the safety and well-being of every child in our county. You are helping us educate children in public schools. You are supporting therapeutic healing for children and families who need immediate assistance. You are standing with neighbors who need guidance. You are showing that our community is strong, empathetic, and courageous against the stigma of child abuse that plagues this world!

We know times are challenging for many, and we are here to support your needs. Every small act of kindness and generosity make a massive difference. As a community, we have the unique ability to lift one another up and create better places for children to heal and grow.

We are grateful for everyone who continues to stand with Juliette’s House. You are part of a community that believes every child deserves to be safe, supported, and heard. We can ensure that no child’s story ends in trauma—and that every story has the chance for hope and healing.
